Streusal-topped Pumpkin Bread


nak cuber resepi ni lah .. mcm best! nak try dulu baru tau best .. wokkey!!


  • ¾ cups Butter, Softened
  • ¾ cups Granulated Sugar
  • ¾ cups Dark Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 4 whole Eggs
  • 2-½ cups Pumpkin Puree
  • 3 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 3 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ¾ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1-½ teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoons Ground Ginger
  • ¼ teaspoons Allspice
  • ¼ teaspoons Grated Nutmeg
  • ⅛ teaspoons Cardamom
  • ½ cups Buttermilk
  • _____
  • FOR THE STREUSEL TOPPING:
  • ¼ cups Butter, Softened
  • ½ cups Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cups Oatmeal
  • ¼ cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 3 Tablespoons Ground Flax Seed
  • ¼ cups Chopped Pecans (optional)

Preparation Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350º F. Grease and flour the bottom of two 8″ loaf pans. To make the topping, mix together all the topping ingredients using a fork or pastry cutter until combined thoroughly.

In a large bowl or mixer, cream together butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar. Add vanilla and eggs and mix until incorporated. Stir in pumpkin puree.

In a separate bowl, add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ground ginger, allspice, nutmeg and cardamom. Whisk together until no lumps remain. Add half of the flour mix to the pumpkin mix, blending well. Beat in buttermilk. Add remaining flour mix and beat lightly until smooth.

Pour batter evenly into the two prepared 8″ pans. Cover each with half of the topping mix. Bake at 350º F for 70-80 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Slice and enjoy.

Apam Gula Merah (AGM)






heh2x! Apam Gula Merah (AGM) ni pun 1st trial utk cik ada, x sangka menjadi pulok... mcm mane cik ada bleh tercuba plak? heh2x ... ini gara2x pergi ke kedai bahan buat kek lah. ade sorg adik ni tgh promote produk anchor so, salah satu resepinya adalah AGM ni lah, cuba rasa... wah, boleh tahan sedap!! adik tu kasi resepi, ermmm.. no bad! sgt senang, bhnnya pun x byk... so, the final decision is I'll making the AGM ... 12-12-10, 5 am, cik ada dah bgn. hr ni hr bersejarah sket, hr yg agak special utk cik ada... The AGM will be buah tangan utk family ehem2x.. yer lah, rupa x cantik, jd kekuatan yg ade pd diri adalah skill memasak lah ... hah3x! sabor jer la... Alhamdulillah, my AGM menjadi .. suker nye x terkata! kejayaan cik ada tu dikongsikan bersama bonda, nanti cik ada buatkan utk bonda ya ... byk resepi lg ni, sumenya nak kena cuba d rmh bonda.. kalau x, membazir jer nanti coz x de sape yg nak menghabiskannya ... sedap2x this AGM nih .. x rugi mencubernye ;))

my xtvt on 10-12-10. Ha3x.. jgn x caye, ini buat sendiri loh ... bkn beli di mane2x kedai pun dan kalau beli pun, mestilah x secomot ini .. ;) susah jgk nak balut dada ayam dgn anchor cheese slices ni!! coz x mo masa menggoreng nanti cheese nyer cair keluar .. hilangla rasa kenikmatannya nanti.. btw, it 1st trial for me, kalau pandai makan tp x pandai buat, rasa mcm x berguna jer.. dah ade resepi di dpn mate, y not kita mencuba, x rugi kalau mencubanya pun .. ;)

Chocolate Cheese Brownie



nak update ape yg kite buat hr nih ... hr ni cuti, cuti sempena Awal Muharram 1432H. Hmmm.. dah pun masuk tahun baru. Ape lagi yer yg masih belum terlaksana??? ermmm... aku masih belum berjaya sepenuhnya! so, pd thn 1432H aku perlu melakarkan impian yg belum terlaksana di tahun 1431H... hr ini amat n teramat teruja coz semua org ade d rmh kecuali ayahanda & kak chik. so, smgt utk mencuba resepi berkobar2x ... sdh 2 minggu lebih brg2x utk CCB ni dibeli oleh bonda. kena tunggu masa yg sesuai utk menjadikannya satu realiti so, hr ini adalah hr yg paling sesuai utk mencuba ...


nampak ke tak? kalau x nampak, bg nampak la jgk! kalau x, korg mmg... heh3x

dah siap! tp knp x same dgn yg dlm pic tu eh?

Puding Roti Mysara


tengah dok mencari-cari resepi icing, terjumpa laman web www.eats.my. view punya view terjumpa resepi puding roti nih, nampaknya mcm sedap!!! so park dulu resepinya dlm blog. kalau ade mase, aku buat ... tp rasanya mcm nak buat coz esok (khamis, 25-11-2010) nak balik kg.. heh3x! untuk bonda & ayahanda terchenta buat minum petang mereka. lagipun stok roti berlambak .. rasenyelah! ok set ...



PUDING ROTI MYSARA


3 cawan susu segar

3 biji telur

3/4 cawan gula perang

1 sudu teh esen vanila

2 sudu besar gula kasar

1 buku roti High 5

Sedikit kismis untuk hiasan

Bahan untuk kastard vanila:

1/2 cawan gula

1 cawan susu cair

2 1/2 cawan air

2 sudu besar tepung kastard

Secubit garam

* Campurkan gula, susu cair, air, tepung kastard, secubit garam dan esen vanila ke dalam kuali. Bahan hendaklah kerap dikacau untuk mengelakkannya hangus dan kering hingga menjadi sedikit pekat.

Bahan untuk sos strawberi:

200 gram strawberi segar

1/4 cawan gula

50 mililiter air

* Strawberi yang dipotong dimasak bersama gula dan air hingga gula cair dan sebati dengan strawberi tapi jangan terlalu lama untuk mengekalkan tekstur buah.

METHOD

  1. Hiris bahagian kulit tepi roti.
  1. Kemudian potong roti yang dibuang kulitnya kepada bahagian lebih kecil (dadu)
  1. Masukkan telur, susu, gula perang dan esen vanila. Kacau campuran tadi hingga sebati.
  1. Masukkan roti yang dipotong ke dalam campuran yang siap dikacau dan biarkan hingga ia kembang.
  1. Sapukan loyang dengan mentega untuk mengelakkan puding melekat apabila masak.
  1. Masukkan adunan roti ke dalam loyang dan ratakan.
  1. Letak sedikit kismis sebagai hiasan.
  1. Bakar adunan pada suhu 160 darjah Celsius dalam ketuhar selama 40 minit hingga 50 minit atau sehingga ia naik.
  1. Tuangkan sos kastard vanila di sekeliling puding roti yang siap dimasak.

Chocolate Ganache Recipe for Cake Glazing & Piping

I luv to play flour, sugar & butter, really luv it ... after I've no relationship, my focus turns into this matter.. I want to try this recipe!



This chocolate ganache recipe is a delicious, rich chocolate glaze that is poured over the cake to create a glossy, beautiful finish. When chilled, ganache can be whipped up for piping decorations.

In order to pipe chocolate ganache icing, you must make sure that the chocolate bits are completely melted. If solid bits come out when you are piping decorations, they will clog up the decorating tip. I only use whippedchocolate ganache for piping borders - the tip is larger and less likely to be clogged with chocolate pieces.

To cover the cake smoothly with the chocolate ganache recipe, I first use a crumb coat of chocolate icing to help the ganache adhere to the surface and to fill in any imperfections on the surface of the cake.

Place the cake on a cardboard round or foamcore board, then set it on a rack with either a pan or waxed paper beneath to catch the drippingchocolate ganache.Pour the ganache over the top and guide it to flow evenly down all sides of the cake. Use a metal spatula to even out the sides as it flows down.

If you need to smooth out any imperfections, do so before the ganache sets. The surface will lose its sheen and wrinkle if you try to fix it later.

Chocolate Ganache Recipe

Yields 2 cups - enough to cover an 8" - 9" cake

  • 1 c. heavy cream
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, broken into small pieces

Place heavy cream, butter and sugar into a saucepan. Stir frequently and bring the mixture to a boil.

Set chocolate in a stainless steel bowl. Pour hot heavy cream mixture over the chocolate and cover with plastic wrap. Allow to sit for 5 - 10 minutes to melt the chocolate. Mix thoroughly, making sure all bits of chocolate are dissolved.

Pour mixture over cake while ganache is still warm. If you wish to decorate with the chocolate ganache icing, chill it until it is firm. Scoop ganache into the bowl of an electric mixer and beat for 2 - 3 minutes on medium setting.

alahai, hr ni dah kena gerak blk ke 'sarang' msg2x coz esknye dah keje, hu3x! aku & chah berlainan destinasi tp kitaorg sekereta utk blk rmh parent kitaorg.. ingat tu nak gi tgk wyg lg citer 'ADNAN SEMPIT' ... mulanya aku x brp kisah sgt dgn filem nih tp bila 2-3 kali bc paper, filem nih hampir BOX OFFICE ... wah! aku kena tgk nih ... x-housemate aku pun komen BEST! arghhh, x boleh jd nih... kena tgk gak, tp aku masih x berkesempatan, nak g tgk sorg pun mcm x best ... hurmmmAKU YG KESEORANGAN!! ssh betul kalau nak buat xtvt, kalau lah aku ade _._._ keh2x ... so, nak jdkan cerita ... plan nak tgh wyg di A* Mall tu mmg x jd coz kitaorg b- lwt dr rmh ... heh2x, kena kemas rmh dulu coz aku nak pinjam vacuum dgn bonda, so nak kena kemas dulu la ... & singgah situ sane sini ... so, sampai je A*, kitaorg terus ke Kuala Sungai, lunch di sana ... fuhh! teramat kekenyangan, almost RM20 lah utk lunch hr tu ... x per, for my little sis, chah - it was a new place for lunch. lepas lunch terus shoot ke Kek Sayang .. nak beli papan kek, kotak kek, aluminum foil coz ade kwn adk ipar order cheese cake ... keh2x! inilah hobi aku [kkdg, malas jgk!] ... sampai je rmh sewa dan slps chah bergerak menuju ke destinasinya .. aku mulakan operasi, MENGEMAS RUMAH name je dok bdua tp hu2x ... no comment! aku jgk yg beralah ... tinggal bilik ke3 je x kemas [bilik baju], dah malas daaa keh3x! sabor je la ... selesai sumenya, aku mula ngadap TV, drama TV2 ... citer ape ntah, lupa lak tajuknya ... mmg best! ternganga2x aku menghayati drama tu ... heh3x! peduli ape, x ade org pun d rmh ... lps je drama, nak kena g jumpa tn rmh tempat aku menyewa ni byr det sewa ... dah lama sgt moto tu tersadai je, so .. aku tunggang moto je la ke rmh tn rmh, dkt jer ... gayat gak sbb dah lama x tunggang ... kereta byk! ingatkan nak singgah kedai, beli sunquick tp x berani nak g jauh2x dlm keadaan byk keta nih ... so, blk tkr kenderaan ... d A* Mall, hu la la ... byknyer org! [CNY just arround da corner that y la ramai org, byk keta ...] hu3x! malaih nak merayap dlm keadaan org yg bersesak2x nih .. sampai je rmh, eeeeiiiiii BENGANG! mmg ... arghhh! itulah kalau hdp x pandai berjiran ... ikut kepala dia sorg jer, ade ke parking keta ikut sesuka ht??? dah la mmg aku pandai sgt la parking msk garage sbb tu diorg buat mcm tu ... mmg jns yg x CERDIK! sabor je lah .. be COOL! x rugi bersabar dgn ragam manusia nih ... lepas Maghrib, bermulalah xtvt dapurku, so simple! hu3x ... aku nak kena buat keje opis nih! URGENT nih .. k lah, tpaksa beredar dulu....

hah! inilah tempatnyer ... byk keta tuh, maknenyer byk lah customer disitu. blkg kedainyer, sawah pd ... mmg cantik view nyer!!!

keli, daging bakar, sup dgg ... on my plate: kcg buncis, peria katak, pucuk paku-pakis.. on chah's plate: pucuk paku-pakis ... keh2x! almost RM20 .. berbaloi2x, hullala ... mmg BEST!

Classic Lemon Cheese Cake


For those who likes cheese cake... try this.. Have a nice days!

The Ingredients:
1 cup sweet biscuit crumbs
1/3 cup butter, melted
2 x 250g Philadelphia Brand Cream Cheese, softened at room temperature
2 teaspoon gelatine dissolved in 1/4 cup boiling water
1 x 400g can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoons grated lemon rind

Directions:
  1. MIX biscuit crumbs with melted butter and press into base of a 20cm springform pan. Chill.
  2. BEAT the cream cheese with an electric beater until smooth, mix in gelatine mixture, condensed milk, lemon juice and rind.
  3. POUR onto crumb base and chill in refrigerator (2-3 hours or overnight). Top with a selection of fresh fruits and serve.
tip: 1 cup biscuit crumbs equals approximately 10 sweet biscuits, crushed.
